LUXENIA Umbro Tiberina is active in the tubing glass converting field since 1973. The company core business is the manufacturing of tubing glass ampoules for parenteral drugs and for cosmetic applications.

Since the early 2000s Luxenia has invested on the manufacturing area improvement and on the safety of its workers, moreover, due to the booming business, it decided to expand the QC lab, the warehouse and the local offices. Thanks to the investments on the production lines the current maximum output is over 300Mio pcs/year and today Luxenia is a reliable partner for a lot of major pharmaceutical companies in Western Europe.

The investments in the manufacturing area have been followed with investments in terms of safety and health including the roof renovation and the implementation of a brand new heat and smokes aspiration system for each line.

As of today Luxenia relies on 15 manufacturing lines all equipped with control systems as follows:

– 100% dimensional control by camera during the forming process
– 100% printing inspection
– 100% OPC dot and incision control
100% ID rings thickness and integrity control.
