SICATEF is active in the tubing glass converting field since 1920, specifically, the company produces glass ampoules for the pharmaceutical industry.

This is an historic company, which moved from its original location in the center of Treviglio to its current location in the 1960s, when it began to expand. In the early 2000s it was among the first companies in Italy to introduce the Screen Printing Inspection System. High product quality, high efficiency and service reliability are the result of more than one hundred years of well-established tradition.

In SICATEF the main goal has always been Customer satisfaction and all activities are focused towards it by following three general guidelines:

– Introduction of innovative electronic controls and inspection systems, most of them developed in-house and certified.
– Constant improvement of the processes, products/services, and internal/external performances.
– Acquisition and retention of market segments.

Thanks to the investments on the production lines the current maximum output is over 300Mio pcs/year of ampoules.

As of today SICATEF relies on 18 manufacturing lines all equipped with control systems as follows:

– 100% dimensional control by camera during the forming process
– 100% printing inspection
– 100% OPC dot and incision control
– 100% ID rings thickness and integrity control.

The company is certified ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 15378:2017. DMF for USA and Cina.
